Hassantuk? Everything You Need To Know About It!

Safety and security within the building, let it be for residential purpose, or commercial use has always been our & UAE’s topmost priority. Specifically, in cases of emergency and fires, it is best to have a state of the art protection system which ensures timely response.

Failure to have such a system can ultimately lead to significant financial losses, along with the loss of people’s lives. SOS ardently recognize the need to have active alarms, which is why we provide Civil Defense’s state-0f-the-art Hassantuk services.

What is Hassantuk?

The United Arab Emirates Civil Defense stresses upon security of all people within homes and offices alike. Overlooked by the Ministry of Interior, the UAE Civil Defence pays specific heed to timely response towards fires and emergencies.

As a response to emergencies and fires, it is particularly crucial to ensure the safety and security of its people, the Injazat Data System, along with the Etisalat, came up with Hassantuk.

The program is designed to ensure each building constructed within the UAE has proper, fully functional, and state-of-the-art alarm systems within buildings. To put it in simplified words, Hassantuk is a system designed by UAE Civil Defense to ensure the safety of all people by providing quick intervention in case of any fire related emergencies.

The system is designed to provide timely automated alerts to the Civil defense department anytime a fire alarm, a smoke detector, or any emergency alarm goes off. Since the program is for protecting civil rights, it is mandatory upon every property owner to install it.

Why did Hassantuk come into place?

Fires and smoke incidents are some of the most common ways of deaths worldwide in a typical household. Apart from the loss of human lives, these fires cause significant financial damage along with crippling a property.

This causes a significant strain on people both emotionally and financially while impacting the Government’s economy. Therefore, to mitigate such risks, it was in 2018 that the UAE Civil Defense came up with the two strategic partnerships. The program that gave way to these partnerships emerged as Hassantuk.

These partnerships were formed with specialized organizations with the main aim of providing support to monitor and fire and life safety systems within every establishment present in the UAE.

An alliance with the Intelligent Command and Control Solution gave way to Hassantuk Building. This strategic program covered commercial buildings and tower blocks and was signed with Injazat Data Systems.

The second agreement was signed with Etisalat. This one was dedicated to private home safety. The Etisalat under the name Hassantuk Homes was responsible for monitoring fires and smoke alarms within private homes.

More on Hassantuk Service

As depicted by the very name of the service, Hassantuk is a program dedicated to the safety and security of every person in the country. Inspired by the UAE national anthem, it rings of security and protection, lying right to its meaning that is “to secure and protect you.”

This cutting edge property and infrastructure safety solution is designed to protect lives and diminish financial losses caused by fires and other emergency disasters. The program efficiently runs through the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) operators.

These work efficiently to check how genuine an alarm is personally. The operator’s efficiency is quite remarkable and manages to identify if an alarm is fake or real within 120 seconds.

These short assessments ensure that the alarms are genuine. In perfect working condition ie, they are very well capable of responding well under fire or any other life-threatening event.

Once the verification process is complete, the alarm report goes back to the emergency service. There this alarm is provided with situational intelligence, which serves as a support to their Gold, Silver, or Bronze levels of command. This exponentially makes their response more effective and inadvertently ensures a safer and smarter city.

How do these alarms work?

These alarms are designed to trigger at various situations, such as in cases of fires and gas detection along with within Elevator Systems and Water Tank Level Meters. Additionally, they suitably work well within Building management systems and security systems.

Apart from that, the fire and safety alarms fitted at connected buildings serve as Receiving Alarms throughout the year, working alongside the maintenance alarms fitted within the systems of the building.

These Receiving Alarms are designed to produce excellent results based on the use of Smart Technology. Furthermore, these alarms are very well built to respond to emergency and maintenance events.

With this, Hassantuk fervently supports the MOI vision of having the UAE as one of the most secure countries worldwide. Additionally, the Hassantuk program pays specific heed to flexibility.

Its branches to connect with millions of devices and is structurally scalable. Over time, the program has managed to expand and add over various other alarms systems as well such as:

  1. Building management systems
  2. Health receiving alarms
  3. Aircraft alerts
  4. Intruder detection
  5. Personal attack alarms
  6. CCTV streams

What led to Hassantuk?

Fire and emergency incidents are harmful, leaving substantial and financial losses. Additionally, these incidents tend to leave a lasting and emotional impact on people. Such causes are what led to the development of the Hassantuk program.

One of the two main incidents that led to this program was the death of eight members of the Emirati family in October 2018. The cause of death was a villa fire in Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi.

Similarly, another such incident was the death of seven children within their villa in Rol Dhadna, Fujairah. The event took place in January 2018, with the cause of death being suffocation in a fire.

It was after this unfortunate incident that His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum decided to take action. He, the Ruler of Dubai, requested for a centralized fire alarm to the Civil Defense System.
